Bioboost was presented as an example of a <strong>territorial acceleration programme<\/strong> that combines innovation, finance and public policy to support high-impact regional initiatives.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Territorial bioeconomy and investment challenges<\/h3>\n\n<p>The presentation highlighted Bioboost\u2019s systemic approach, particularly in:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supporting projects with mixed governance and complex business models,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identifying financial tools to unlock investment (such as public guarantees or output-based finance),<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And positioning accelerators as <strong>effective bridges between local initiatives and the European investment ecosystem<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>Common investment barriers<\/strong> encountered by Bioboosters were also shared, including actor fragmentation, limited financial maturity, and a lack of specialised intermediaries.
