Topics addressed included:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Biogas production and effluent management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recovery of nutrients and bio-based fertilisers<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valorisation of agri-food waste<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Development of territorial bioeconomy projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Beyond the technological perspective, the key message was clear: the circular bioeconomy is no longer a theoretical concept, but an evolving and deployable reality across regions.<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>BIOBOOST\u2019s contribution: accelerating projects and reducing risk<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Within this context, BIOBOOST presented its approach to <strong>supporting bioeconomy projects along their development journey<\/strong> \u2014 from early-stage concept to investment readiness.<\/p>\n\n<p>The presentation, delivered by M\u00edriam Romero (INVENIAM), focused on:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Key results and lessons learned from the project<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Common barriers faced by bioeconomy initiatives<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The importance of de-risking to unlock investment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>BIOBOOST operates as a regional accelerator providing Project Development Assistance (PDA) services, combining technical, legal, financial and strategic support. Its objective is to <strong>help projects become more robust, structured and attractive to investors<\/strong>, ultimately contributing to the mobilisation of investment in the bioeconomy sector<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Creating connections and opportunities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>The workshop also included a networking and exhibition space (Expo Corner), fostering direct interaction between companies, technology providers and project developers. This environment enabled the exchange of ideas and the identification of potential collaborations.<\/p>\n\n<p>Participation in such events is a key component of BIOBOOST\u2019s dissemination strategy, aimed at increasing visibility, engaging stakeholders and facilitating the replication of successful approaches across Europe<\/p>\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Strengthening the bioeconomy ecosystem in Europe<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n<p>Bioboost is part of a broader European effort to accelerate the transition towards a sustainable, circular and bio-based economy.
